The drone uses the basic "M-17" rounds as ammunition. You do not need to equip them to an officer, just leave them in the general "inventory" and the drone will automatically pull from there.

Basics

To enter your drone, hit the "h" key from the Hall view (make sure you have closed the Overlord pop-up).

The direction you are facing is controlled with the mouse, simply move the mouse in the direction you would like to turn. Press the "W" or "Up Arrow" keys to move forward.
